Music and the Healing Arts
" The observation of sound dynamics and time perception are a fascinating meditation and exploration into the healing powers of inspired music and natural sounds. It is a similar attention and an available perception which can be embraced and practiced as moving orchestrations in both music and the healing arts disciplines. Similar to the ebb and flow of the sea and the crossing sounds of the wind and water , music can alter our state of being with its characters of dynamics ,tempo , pitch and color. It can open our awareness and expand our boundaries of wonder and creativity. It occurs on many levels and offers different pallets and intensities relative to harmony, dissonance, volume and sound description ".
